RoTools is a browser extension that runs on roblox.com and create.roblox.com. Default open hotkey is F2. It does not have its own account system and it does not sell data.

What stays on your device

Settings (Robux display, themes, notes, pins, extras, panel size) are stored in this browser with localStorage and Chrome/Firefox extension storage. Settings sync between www and create via extension storage only (not Roblox cookies). A settings backup you copy is a file you control. Import only writes known RoTools keys.

What we request from Roblox

While you are logged into Roblox, the extension uses your existing Roblox session to call official Roblox APIs you already use in the browser: balance, friends, inventory, catalog, games, groups, and similar. That traffic goes to Roblox, not to a RoTools server for those calls.

Community site (rotools.net)

If you submit an idea or tool on this website, we store your submission (title, description, optional link/name, and the Discord/email you provide for follow-up) so we can review it. Contact details are not published on the public ideas board. Do not submit secrets, passwords, or other people’s personal data.

Optional exchange rates

Localized pricing, if you turn it on and grant permission, fetches a public USD rate table from open.er-api.com at most once per day. That request does not include your Roblox account or the page you are on.

Spending Robux

Changing the on-screen Robux number is display-only. Catalog checkout is blocked while a fake balance is shown. Optional avatar bulk-buy spends real Robux only after you confirm and after a real-balance check.

What we do not do

No analytics, ads, or third-party trackers in the extension. No selling your data. No changing Roblox’s account switcher.

Affiliation

RoTools is an independent project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Roblox Corporation. Roblox is a trademark of Roblox Corporation.
